Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone

Listenin' to Kelly Clarkson "Already Gone". It's a nice song. Although it's again something like Kelly does pretty often. That is, ditching another sorry guy in her video. (lol). Still this is a good attempt. I like it. :)

Esmee Denters - Outta here

I like her song a lot. Another one of her songs is "what if" that's good too. This song has a good vibe to it. Hot Chick too!

Listen to "Outta Here" right now,

The Stepfather

Michael Herding (Penn Badgley) finds himself in an odd situation when he suspects that the person to marry his mother has a mystery about the history of his life.

Along with his girlfriend Kelly (Amber Heard), his biological father Jay (Jon Tenney) (who dies), and Susan’s friends (Paige Turco and Sherry Stringfield), they slowly start to piece together the mystery of the man who is set to become his stepfather, but they may be too late in getting to the truth.

Seems like a nice story. Amber Heard looks cute in this movie. Going to watch the movie because of her.

Law Abiding Citizen

Justice never comes easy. Clyde Shelton (Butler), a retired "Think Tank", is told that one of the criminals who killed his wife and daughter will not be convicted, as much of the evidence against him was compromised by a bungled forensic investigation. After Shelton pleads with Nick Rice (Foxx), a power-hungry attorney with a 96% conviction rate, to take the case to court, Rice tells Shelton it does not matter what is right, but what can be proved in court. Rice then makes a deal with Clarence Darby, the person who raped Shelton's wife and murdered his daughter, for third-degree murder, while his accomplice, Rupert Ames, is sent to death row, for a charge of what is essentially theft.

You can read the rest of the plot here on Wikipedia.

Jamie Fox is a good actor but this movie had Denzel Washington written all over it. The plot just sounds like the type of Story you would want Denzel Washington acting in it. And yep, I'm a big fan. :P

Paranormal Activity

Paranormal Activity is about a couple living together when they start realizing there's some, well obviously, paranormal activity happening in their home.

They feel as if there's an entity in their house besides them that's doing things to them or around them. Just to make sure Micah, the husband, gets a camera to record anything and everything that's happening in their bedroom so that they would know if it's true.

Camera does record a few odd things that arouses more concern from the couple on this part. So they call upon a psychic who tells them it's not a spirit in their house, instead it's a demon that's feeding on all the negative energy they have in their.

Katie, the wife, also discloses that she's been haunted by some unknown entity all her life since her youth.

The activity grows stronger as the days go by and the actions from the demon are much more volatile. Slamming on doors, Katie being pulled down the stairs and at times almost being possessed by the demon momentarily.

It's a pretty scary movie. Must see. Watch the trailer here,

Couples Retreat

Couples Retreat is a movie about three couples going on a vacation on a tourist resort that deems to help couples with their relationship problems. The main reason all of them were going was because of Jason (Jason Bateman) and Cynthia (Kristen Bell) who were on a verge of getting a divorce.

Short on cash, they enlist help from their friends to offset the cost through a group rate: the kid-raising Dave (Vince Vaughn) and Ronnie (Malin Akerman), the lovelessly married Joey (Jon Favreau) and Lucy (Kristen Davis), and the recently divorced Shane (Faizon Love) and his much younger girlfriend Trudy (Kali Hawk). The three other couples think they are just going to have fun and help their friends, but they realize they are in for having their relationships examined as well.

Seems like a nice 'pass the time' kind of movie. So if you just want to kill time, go for this one.

Britney's New Single - "3"

Hear it out yourself.

Apart from the techno, I don't think the song is any good at all. Britney might still be able to get a good score on BillBoard.Com's ratings only because of her fame. This song is just simple and ordinary.

What's the point of it anyway?

Miley Cyrus "Goodbye Twitter" Song.

Yep, after rumours of Miley Cyrus quiting twitter for good started surfacing, Miley had to make it legit so she made a song.

Pretty lousy for a song. She's trying to rap now. But I think that's great. She should close her YouTube Channel too while she's at it.

P.S When Taylor Swift rapped about her "Thug Story" she was cute. You're not @ Miley Cyrus.

The Invention of Lying

I've done a review of this movie before it was released (that post was lost though .. http://www.roadsout.com/2009/09/roadsout-was-down-for-weeks.html). But now since it's out I'm going to watch it.

Mark Bellison (Ricky Gervais) is a person who figures out he can lie to people to change the odds in his own favour in a world where no body has the finest inclination towards lying. Lies just don't exist in this reality.

Ricky Gervais is a fresh and funny actor and does make the movie into a smart comedy that everybody is going to enjoy while watching.

Other cast includes Jennifer Garner as Anna McDoogles which is also going to add more interest to the movie.

It's a must see. Watch the trailer here on youtube.

What's consistent about Akon's tracks?

Akon is one of the leading rappers/singers these days. His songs are good and they're being listened by many. The latest of his in collaboration with David Guetta "Sexy Chick" is pretty cool, as usual.

One thing that makes his tracks good other than the music is the whole theme of his songs. His songs are based around women. It's not just in a simple manner. The original concept behind the song is always Akon falling in love with a girl and wanting to sleep with her. Yep, that's the trick. It always ends there.

You do have to ask yourself at least once after that if you're that type of a guy too for liking his music. :)

See it in either, "Keep You Much Longer", "Don't Matter", "Right Now (na na na)", "I Wanna Love You", "Sexy Chick" (By David Guetta ft. Akon), "Beautiful", "Lonely", "Silver and Gold", "Dangerous" etc.

I love almost all his songs. He's good. His voice has a unique pitch too. You can sometimes feel the emotion in his voice. Which is both alluring and makes the music much more interesting.

Listen to his songs, become his fan. :)

Where the Wild Things are

Max lives in an imaginary world where he finds a wild animals as friends. Why? Because he's angry with his mother for not giving him the attention he requires. Especially when he doesn't like her new boyfriend who's coming around their house.

So Max is pretty happy imagining that he has friends who like him and pay all their attention and devotion to him. They crown him the new ruler of the new place he's living in and so forth.

Sounds like an interesting concept for children.

This movie is an adaptation of 1963 children's picture book by American writer Maurice Sendak, originally published by Harper & Row.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)

Lots of Twilight fans and movie watchers alike are anxiously awaiting the upcoming release of New Moon (Twilight 2). Even if you haven't read the book series, you should watch the movie. Even if you don't like it, you could sit through it and admire Kristen Stewart; a great, young attractive actress dating a vampire. I was impressed with the first Twilight movie, so I'm looking forward to seeing the second debut of the Twilight saga. Are you?

Yup, the same cast is returning for this one, and rumor has it, this will be Robert Pattinson's last debut in the Twilight series. Even more of a reason to watch this, right?

After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella's blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward's sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.

Toy Story 3

The movie that everybody knows about and wants to see. No matter you're and adult or a child, this is the movie you want to see the first when it comes out.

Yep, we have the same characters and more toy and toy fun.

Andy is now a young adult, departing for college, and his toys, including Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) are being sent to storage. Andy has a change of heart and decides to keep Woody. Before the rest of the toys can be put in the attic, they are accidentally thrown away and are picked up by the garbage men. The toys find themselves at a local day-care center, where they must try to survive the pre-school children. Woody attempts to save his friends and find themselves a new home.

Zombieland

I'm not a great fan of Zombie movies. Or walking dead for that matter. It's always the same concept. People getting alive after death and so forth etc.

But unlike me many people do like these type of movies. Especially the fact that they get to see so many zombies getting killed by a small group of people trying to escape them.

Good thing about this movie is that it's a comedy and has a nice array of scenes that would make you wanna laugh just out of no where.

So for the comedy part, I give it a good score and it's a good movie to watch.

Here's the trailer,
